First things first, Introductions!
We are The Myers, Andrew and JJ, to be more specific. A little background information… We became “The Myers” on January 9, 2010, after six years of dating throughout high school and college. We both attended Western Kentucky University where Andrew graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems and I graduated from the Hospitality Management Program. After graduation we packed up our lives and moved to beautiful Charleston, South Carolina! We have spent the last five months acclimating to our new environment, and the one thing that we have been most enthusiastic about was the amazing variety of food right at our backdoor! Andrew and I have ALWAYS had a love for food, whether going out to a restaurant or cooking up new recipes at home. So, when we arrived in Charleston we were overwhelmed by the amount of restaurants available to our “sheltered” appetites. We want to experience restaurants ranging from Gourmet Dining (on the occasion that we can afford it ;)) to the local fast-food joint! This is the sole reason for this blog. We have decided to tackle all the fare the Charleston area has to offer and give our readers a review from an ordinary, non-professional palette! We hope you’ll join us for this adventure because we’re “Craving Charleston!”
